“The agreement covers over 80 ABB turbochargers within our fleet. The benefits for us are simple: there is a 15% reduction in maintenance costs, which has been proven by data received, and the agreement has resulted in virtually no breakdowns. It is so simple to budget for this as we know how many running hours are involved. This is compared with the old-fashioned method by which a service call was carried out when required.”

“As early as the 1980s QSY started cooperating with ABB Turbocharging and was the first company from the Chinese rail industry that cooperated with ABB. Great importance is given by ABB to the cooperative relationship between the two companies and ABB has provided strong technical support and excellent post-sales service.
In the last decade both companies have had close exchanges on technologies and kept a good cooperative relationship.
